How long does it take to get a project approved ?

The time it takes to get a project approved depends on the scope of the project and the jurisdiction. Whereas, some jurisdictions claim they have a "over-the-counter" approval process, these could be limited to minor alterations. If only a building permit is required the project could be approved in 3 to 6 months. For a project that requires planning approvals an additional 4 to 6 months must be considered.
